hi.not been on for a few days hubby was ill but fine now.got this one the other day on my local pond,knew we had some here but this is my first time seeing them here and it showed rather well as i was lying in the snow hiding from it.

Great bird to get and it is a fabulous shot too with excellent detail,

A splendid capture of this water rail. Superb lighting and feather detail. You did really well to get that shot. Fancy lying in the snow! That made me smile.
