The tortoise story - 2

The tortoise story - 2 (Testudo graeca)

Tortoises don't move fast, as we all know, so it took some skill and patience for me to stand perfectly still when the tortoise started moving towards me. Luckily, I have some experience from working as a model for the art school way back in my student days. And my patience was rewarded because it was easy to focus on such slow-moving wildlife ;) As he sloooowly made his way - towards me :eek!: - I had to remove the teleconverter to keep him in the frame

Looks great,Doc,nice with the shell beside it too. Even if it's a slow mover you put a stop to it here. ;);

Three lovely images of this Tortoise Doc. I've got a large Turtle in my creek and every year it comes out to lay eggs but I don't follow it to see where the eggs are being laid.
