The wrong side of the road (Skylark)

The third first from my trip to Ebbw Vale with Mike, only this time I did not have him as a tripod LOL, I think my shortcomings hand holding are apparent!! but it is a Skylark and I did get up at 4am!!I dont see many, so in the gallery it goes.
Location
Road side Ebbw Vale
Date taken

Equipment used
Canon 40d+100-400is usm L
Thanks Ken, used to see loads of these when I was a kid, seem very elusive now, well done. Mick

It looks good to me Ken! Hand-held at an early hour, it looks better than that - and that bright sunlight full on the bird didn't help you out a lot, but you got a great exposure just the same - well done I say!

4 a.m. for a bird? I think you are far more dedicated to this passion than I am and I hear you on the hand-holding. You did far better than I would have w/o a tripod. Congrats on your Skylark.

I don't see many either, Ken, though as a child I remember they were quite common. Lots of them nested on the local golf course. I've only seen one this year and I didn't get a picture so well done!

Super First KEN so pleased you had a great time out with Mike and clocking all these first keep on posting mate im already waiting for the next one cheers mate Don.
