Thirsty Bird (Calypte anna)

The hummers love this small tabletop fountain. It was a $5 garage sale find many years ago and is enjoyed by all our birds. That blue in the far right water drop is a reflection of nearby blooms.

This is a super, cool, stop-action shot Vicki. I've never, ever seen my hummers at the bath. Under the sprinkler - yes, at the bath - no.

What a delightful and beautiful image this is, Vicki !!! Thanks for sharing.

So you are doing trick shots now Vicki. Lol. This is superbly timed and executed. Well done. My 7D Mk2 has gone back to the shop under warranty as it has serious focusing issues. It would not AF with the first shutter press and I was having to MF to a point nearer focus and the press again and the AF would kick in. Some images were way off when I got home and looked at them on the computer even though some in the same batch would be ok. This was happening with three different lenses.

Cracking action capture Vicki!!! Sounds like you've had value for money with that spa, LOL. Thanks for your kind words, much appreciated.
