those swallows (hirundo rustica)

well guys i spent ages today again trying to capture the swallows and the only one i got half decent was this perched one,i do hope practise does make perfect sometime but it is good fun trying.really cold here today and snow showers.

LOL a nightmare to try and get in flight, aren't they!! You've got a lovely picture of this perched one Margaret.... keep trying and you'll get the image you're happy with.

No snow here, but we did get a lot of hail earlier. Fairly batted down for a while it did!!
