Three in a row

Three in a row (Athene noctua)

Well almost in a row. The family of Little Owl on my local patch were enjoying the sunshine this morning. The first in several days. Earlier in the week the barley crop was harvested and the straw rolled into bales. They were sat by one of the bales no doubt hunting for mice. I thought at first there was only one juveniles but now three have appeared. First time I've caught them in a 'family group'.
