Three's a Crowd (Corvus cryptoleucus)

I was downloading pictures from the previous day's outing when my roommate called to me. She saw 2 of these ravens perched just beyond the fence surrounding two of our acres. I grabbed the camera and was able to get a shot of the two and then this as a third started to land. Once the third completed his landing the other two decided it was crowded and flew away, with the interloper right behind.

Normally found in flat arid grassland.

Great shots in all three post.I love to watch the antics of the American Crows of my area,they are Hilarius at times.

This is a cool shot of a bird I have never seen but would like to.
 
I've never seen this species before - well captured Lisa, I love the dramatic nature of the shot, with the dark birds against the muted colours. :clap:

Wow, what a great image.. the three birds with wings upwards, the bushes, everything is beauty here..
