'Tiara... (Cygnus atratus)

When I was at Caroline Springs I took quite a few shots of the (year old) Swans and they all got too close! lol ....I like the way the sun is shining through it's eye and making it very soft...it's not very often that I can get the droplets of water looking like a tiara...but it kept dunking into the water and trying to get some food....do hope you like it!

Large open waters of all types, including salt,flooded pastures, swamps. Occasionally on the sea. Widespread.

I love these birds, we have two in separate places around here and they both seem to have incredibly long necks, do they have longer necks than the mute swan?
