Time for bed (Corvus cornix)

You'd be excused for thinking this is a skyscape shot and not a bird shot, but there are birds in there: Hooded Crows silhouette against that fiery sunset. This was my last shot of the "roll" today, taken at 3:07 pm. Days are getting longer, though. And while the sun is up (about 5 hours of the day now) ... and in fact, a bit longer than that since it's light enough for digital cameras for some time before the sun is up and after the sun is down ... we're having great weather lately and I've been getting some decent shots. I'll get back to those later, though, when I've worked my way through the rest of the fall and mid-winter.
