The weather has been lousy here for the last weeks - darkness, rain or snow. The sun is only up for 6 hours - but we never get to see it for all the clouds. I tried to photograph the willow with one hand and feed it with the other hand. Not so easy as the camera with the 24-70 lens is rather bulky and leaves less than 30 cm to the bird. 34 mm focal length and almost no crop.
The little chap is relaxed enough to try and get 2 seeds at the same time. Actually he preferred to eat from my hand rather than to fight with the other birds over the seeds on the ground. The Crested tit and Coal tit only approach my hand if they have no other choice - and then they only have one foot on my hand. The Great tit and Nuthatch will probably never consider it....
