To fly, or not to fly... (Falco peregrinus)

The peregrine chick began screaming when the peregrine mother visited with a killed blackbird. But then she left and flew to a nearby building, depositing the blackbird there. The chick obviously wanted to get to it but also was having serious doubts about flying. It was spreading its wings and flapping a lot, but then made up its mind it didn't want to risk it. Of course, after its brother and sister bombed the street and were taken away to the Raptor Foundation, it would have doubts...
