To Jamie: a colourful 'Thank you' (Merops apiaster)

Well, here I'm back from a long weekend spent tracking some target birds for the ineffable Jamiedude. We had a most enjoyable time, great weather and fantastic birds!!! :bounce: He took some awesome shots (you'll see soon, ;)) and as for me well, I did what I could!

Here it goes a bird I was dying to add to my gallery but I never could get enough close to it for a "postable" pic. I owe it to Jamie, so here it is from a most grateful Madam Coolpix for the chances for great photography you gave me and the spanking company!!! o:D

Most impressive Bee-eater who even can pose. Nice twigs to fill the frame. A bird I can only dream of. Great work, Marian. :clap:

Buddydude, I know you love Bee-eaters, that's why I chose one for my "thank you"-message!!! :t: Besides, it was the first bird I photographed decently during the weekend... doublely special, then! ;)

Stefano, you're right, plenty of stuff in Villaffila & Seplveda... but we managed to pay quick visits to those two places too!!! :eek!: A marathonian weekend, it was, but very successful!!!

Let's hope I can share something else before the weekend... but I don't promise anything, depends on how busy I am!!! ;) But I'm dying to share more often! Cheers, everybody!!! B :)
