Top of the Tree (Delichon urbicum)

The House Martins & Barn Swallows are gathering on the Rheinspitz in Austria preparing for their migration southwards. There are still plenty of insects about and it's a question of putting on some weight before the long flight. I estimate there were 200 birds trying to settle on the flimsy branches of this birch tree.
