Tree Cover. (Falco tinnunculus)

I am very pleased with this particular photo of the Kestrel in flight. 1DX 500f4 mkii and 2X converter mkiii hand held shot at f8 range 45 meters. Don't forget that with this combination only the center focus point is in use, I have converted case 1 to my own settings for this type of shot and it appears to work. With the new 1dx2 all 61 focus points will work with the 2x at f8, should make things simpler. Hope this information is helpful.

Impressive Kestrel picture taken with some awesome equipment but more importantly is the knowledge of the user behind the equipment. You are a master John!!!!!! TFS!!!

What a amazing photo, to keep the bird so sharp with a potential loss of focus from the tree in the center! Fantastic shot!!
