treecreeper+chick

the best of a bad bunch: the lighting today was terrible in the wood, but on checking the treecreepers the chicks were noticably larger and mobile so had to give it a go! i was flogging a dead horse really, 20th second shutter speed at f5.6, very bad. obviously wanted a smaller aperture to get a better DOFso the chick was in focus too but there was no chance of that with the light. never mind, tomorrow is another day.

You could have pushed the ISO to get your shutter speed and DOF, the 40D is awesome at hi ISO work. Just remember to go into the menu and set hi iso noise reduction to on. Ignoring that, it is still a great shot.
