Tropical Kingbird (Tyrannus melancholicus)

This morning Robbie Fischer and I saw the continuing TROPICAL KINGBIRD at Lake Dalwigk Park in Vallejo. It was found 31 October by Scott Restivo and Eric Pilotte and seen the next day by several observers. Anyway it's still there. We first heard it calling from the tall trees over the picnic tables. There are very few previous records from Solano County.

A great frontal close up of this Tropical Kingbird Joe. Nicely captured guy!

How pretty these kingbirds are Joe! You must have been delighted to find him... and posing so beautifully for you too.

That's a fabulous picture lad - very well done my friend.

A lovely portrait of this rare visitor, Joseph.
