Tuftie (Parus bicolor)

I just had to take the picture. Had everything against me. 5:30 p.m. The Titmouse was not going to hang around our Sunflower feeder for much long. Haven't seen it for 2 days now. I knew it would happen from experience. We had a window screen up. I wanted to move it, but was afraid the Tuftie wouldn't come, because something was different. Overcast day, the light fading, ISO at 4000 F6.3 1/320sec.

Do they migrate away Brian? I'm so used to having these guys beer year round dwellers that I never even thought of that possibility.

Glad you got such a great capture of this sweet little bird.

They are around, all year I believe. I haven't seen them that often . I haven't put out nuts though, hear they just love them. I haven't had a shot of the Tuftie in the wild. Elusive little bird. I do hear them through the Spring, and Summer.

You'll have to come and sit on my back deck. Plenty of Titmouse action ;) Thanks Brian.
