I spent about an hour following this one, he always kept just out of range of the 300mm. Eventually he let me get nearer, but the sun was behind him. This was one of the few shots I managed to salvage, unfortunately it's black and white only, the noise was too much otherwise.
He made numerous strikes that day, but failed to kill. He didn't seem worried by my presence in the end, even watching me whilst hovering, then ignoring me again.
