Up in the air (Passer domesticus)

... sorry, I was just pleased to catch this guy in the open, but still in a nice setting.

I think it's a young male, as the black breast doesn't seem to be fully developed (though that may be the angle).

You'll be delighted to know, I'm sure, that I've finally had my dental appointment, and now have a numb gum... hmmm... how do I eat lunch then!!? I had to cancel the last one as it was too slippery outside.

Wishing you a speedy recovery from the numb gum. Luckily for you, the big dinner day in UK is tomorrow. Here it's on Xmas Eve. Table's set. Rib roast just about done. That'll "rest" while the roast veg is in the oven ... mmmmmm. Smelling so good it's hard to wait :p
