Variegated Antpitta (Grallaria varia)

I found these on my last trip and I built a blind about 25 meters away from it from where I was abble to watch and digiscope without disturbing this extremely shy bird. And Since it is a new one for the Database I felt I should post it.

A rare photo of the Amazonian ssp. of Grallaria varia. Quite a feat to get a picture of this bird, far more difficult to see than its Atlantic forest race!
