Attached this time , a pair of the so called "Veiled" blackcap, a partially melanistic form of Blackcap from Madeira and Azores islands I did lately for a scientific article.
I've never heard of this morph before my friend. I wonder how common it is, though I see it only occurs on a couple of islands. This will be subspecies s.a. heineken, I guess.
