Velvet-purple Coronet

Velvet-purple Coronet (Boissonneaua jardini)

One of the most spectacular hummers I've seen - particularly when it catches the light. Quite a limited range but seen in good numbers where present (at both mid and lower elevations at Montezuma. Finally managed to catch one in the classic "wings-up" pose that Coronets often take on landing!
