Very pretty, but ...
Doc Duck

Very pretty, but ...

a tenacious weed, much hated by local produce growers. And I haven't been able to find out what it's called. I'm pretty sure my mother knew and once told me, but unfortunately she passed away last year.

Oh it is very pretty, isn't it Ann.

Not too good on wild flowers I'm afraid, so can't help. You could try the ID forum of course... there's one for flowers etc.

Beautiful Doc. It goes by several common names like everything but a common one is Salsifly. It genus is Tragopogon possibly T. porrifolius. This should get you close enough!!!
