Wallace's Standardwing, bird of paradise,
A Wallace's Standarwing perched, one of 6 birds that displayed for us for a long time during one of our trips. Contrary to many believes and some of the information in many books that the birds will end their activities before the sun is up the displaying didn't end until after 9 o'clock. This species, the Paradise Crow and most of the endemics where fairly common in the region we did visit.
