Like the stonechat, I'm preparing some small colourful pictures for an exhibition I've got in Besanon this winter - I want to include as many local birds as possible - a good excuse to paint one of my favourites again while I wait for them to come back (just under 3 months to go!)
This is really inspirational work. I recall falling in love with your waxwings from a 2002 calender and have been very impressed by the consistent high quality of your images.
