Wallcreeper
Over the last few weeks there have been reports of this bird in two different places in Brittany, one on the northern coast and one in the east. So, I decided to go and have a look and I drove east to a small quiet village, parked my car neat the bulky church in the middle of the village. It was a bright ,sunny day with a cold blustery wind. And I waited for the bird to appear . Soon there were half a dozen of us peering up at the top of the wall and the roof. Eventually, it did appear and I had to keep my eyes peeled because it is no bigger than a chaffinch and very mobile.
