Warbling Vireo (Vireo gilvus)

Right on time according to my records, these vireos sure don't sit still long and their drab coloring makes it hard to get any decent images in the bright morning sun.

.... well you seem to thrive on difficulty then Vicki, 'cos that is a right cracker you've got there.

Very well done lassie.

Super capture Vicki...I see a Red-eyed Vireo in PA, got one quick frame, and it was gone.

A Vireo I have yet to see and what a beautiful image this is Vicki!

I'm definitely envying you for all that sunshine ;)

Great shot Vicki, I have the same problem from time to time, Try spot metering and drop the ec level down one. It can also give a nice dark background, it has worked for me in the past. I am sure you know this anyway.
