Was that all?
I'm still huuungry!

I really feel for their parents. I can barely keep my feeders filled these days. Just now I have a flock of 70 House Sparrows at the feeders (+ Greenfinches, Siskins, Blue Tits, Great Tits, a Nuthatch, a Redpoll, a Magpie ... and a Chiffchaff was debugging the shrubs earlier today). It's so packed they're hovering in "holding pattern" to wait their turn. That obviously empties the feeder pretty much daily. But at least I don't have to pick out each seed from its husk with my teeth and feed the birds one seed at a time mouth-to-mouth. ;)

I do also have human dinner guests coming to be fed this evening, and I had to wait with the food prep while we had an electrician doing an installation outside, since he had to switch the power off for a while. Obviously couldn't do anything on the 'puter then either. So now it's back to work in the kitchen. I may not be able to browse until tomorrow, but we have rain forecast. I won't be out hiking all day so I'll get caught up then.
