Lovely! But I think I need to stop browsing now. I'm in hospital (nothing dramatic, just one of my usual episodes that requires a few hours of hydration and pain relief) and it strikes me that when that stripy leaf by his bill set up a whole swirling, rings-on-water effect in my "reading" of the image, that it might not be the leaf so much as the morphine kicking in ;)

Does "Ammo Pond" mean what I think it means Stanley? We don't use that term over here for anything.

What a great picture that is.... and I had to laugh at Ann's comment about the 'swirling' on the leaf under his bill..... what a lovely pattern that makes, when your eyes settle down!

A super job you've done here lad, thanks.

Nice to see them perched like this and not in the water. Beautifully captured guy.

He stands out well amongst the vegetation, Stanley.

Such a beautiful and natural setting for this colorful bird. A gorgeous capture Stanley.
