Waxwing looking in living-room (Bombycilla garrulus)

This picture was taken through window at home! A flock of Waxwings was feeding on the berries in front of our windows. This bird was very close in front of the (open!) living-room window.

It was a great experience to have them so close at home, because we had big troubles to find any Waxwings last autumn in northern Finland - and light was very poor as we found a flock.

Here I had to switch the AF closest focusing distance down to 1.5m to get it sharp!
But sharpness was still a problem by the hot air coming out of the window.
