Don't supposse they will stay much longer, and they are so mobile, took this outside Manchester, it was a gloomy day but for about 30 minutes the sun came out!! Hey Ho! (It's gone back in again now!!)

only half an hour of sun shine, that makes you work so fast provided the bird will be polite enough to pose as this one did in this super capture.

Aaaw Kim, what a wonderful picture - I just couldn't get near them in good light at all - you're so lucky lass.
 
A lovely shot of a waxwing. The plumage colours seem to be glowing in the rare sunlight. I like the pose too, right at the top of a twig.
