We love you Mom !! (Threskiornis melanocephalus (Black-headed Ibis))

... so they seem to be saying. This is the breeding season at Ranganathittu, a small island sanctuary on the banks of the river Cauvery in Karnataka, South India. These juveniles are still dependant and are regularly fed by their mother - the middle one. At this particular moment, they seemed to be showering love and affection on their mother. This photograph is therefore, special to me.
