Well, maybe not on the sunniest of days, but there was some sunshine through the clouds, and the leaves on the neighbours' birch had turned a bright, sunny yellow ;)

I love the pretty b/g colours Ann, they sort of match his plumage don't they.

That background complements that beautiful Waxwing. Lucky you. I have only seen one in my entire life and I was born when the world was very hot.
