Wearing his puffy coat (Erithacus rubecula)

Back in Trondheim, winter is colder. Time to break out the puffy down coat. I had one Robin visiting my feeder area pretty much daily through the winter, but it wasn't often I got a clear view of him through the twigs. They're not as bold here as in English parks, not as accustomed to having crowds of people around.

Yes.... it's interesting Ann.... Jays appear to be very tame in London parks, but terrified of humans round here.

You've a lovely picture of this wee charmer lass - that's a great fluffy coat, think I fancy that LOL
