Weidmeyer’s Admiral (Limenitis weidemeyerii: Nymphalidae) Wingspan 5.7-9.5 cm (2.25-3.75 in)
Habitat
At the interface of a subalpine zone and timberline at 3,524 m (11,562 ft) elevation. A Rocky Mountain Bristlecone Pine dominated conifer forest with a subalpine fen.
Location
Mount Goliath Natural Area along Mt. Evans Scenic Byway (hwy 5), south of Idaho Springs, Clear Creek County, Colorado, USA.
