Welcome visitor..

..to my 'local patch'. Not sure how long this bird will stay, but seems to quite like it at the moment!!! Can be quite difficult to see when in the trees, as it likes to sit in the middle of them, but very obliging once on or near the ground - Mike

A terrific shot of this great looking bird Mike. I've never seen one but I am looking forward to getting a look at one some day. Nice one.
 
I have gone green with envy over this, I have tried 2 birding areas in the NE that have had reports of them and each time I have missed out.

A cracker.
 
I saw it there but was so excited I only got a head and shoulders shot that wasn't blurred o:D

Very well taken - not easy because he always seems to land in the shadows. Super job.
