Western Crested Shrike-tit
Mike Bouette

Western Crested Shrike-tit (Falcunculus frontatus)

I took a trip to Collins road,Flint about 60 km from Perth CBD to see if I could see this bird.
It took me about 5 minutes to find it!

I have been visiting this site for about 15 years and despite it being known Shrike-tit country I have never managed to see one ...until now!

It was about an hour after dawn so the light was not perfect but I was pleased to get a photograph or two!
