Western Flycatcher
Last year the Pacific-slope Flycatcher and the virtually identical Cordilleran Flycatcher were re-lumped under the original name "Western Flycatcher." They were separated only by genetics and minor differences in vocalizations, but more recent research found extensive hybridization and vocal overlap than previously thought. This one is presumably of the nominate race. Note the yellow underparts especially the throat and the tear-drop shaped eyering which expands behind the eye.
