Western Gerygone (Gerygone fusca)

This little beauty, more often heard than seen, has recently taken up residence in the Lake Claremont's earliest re-vegetated bushland area. It's plaintive song is unmistakable.

Isn't he a neat-looking guy David. Their song isn't much to write home about though, is it LOL.

I remember seeing one of these at Kings Park in Perth. Lovely image, David.
