Western Kingbird and Scissor-tailed Flycatcher Female Hunting
Western Kingbird (Tyrannus verticalis) and Scissor-tailed Flycatcher (Tyrannus forficatus) female.

The Western Kingbird was perched on an infructescence of sour dock in a bahia grass field. The female scissor-tailed flycatcher flew up to the Kingbird and hovered for a couple of seconds and then the two flew off hunting side by side, sometimes one in front of the other. Finally they disappeared around a small stand of trees in the bahia grass field. Best of buds!
