Strangely they really don't look very much like our sandpipers, but as they're called 'pipers' I guess, like ours, they have a 'piping' song LOL (Oh is that why some of your waders are called "peeps"???)

Very nice shot! It's always a puzzle how white birds stay white while spending all day in the mud! ;)
