Western Whipbird (Psophodes nigrogularis)

Taken on a recent trip to Cheynes Beach.
These birds are extremely difficult to see let alone photograph.
I spent a week there and although you can hear them this is the only one I managed to see.

WOWSER Mike...

I heard no end of Whipbirds (mostly Eastern) during my stay, but didn't manage to see one (apart from leaves moving under a bush LOL).

What a cracker of a picture to get lad and only the 2nd and 3rd images to come in for this species too.

Cheynes Beach... remember it well! Tried for Noisy Scrubbird on the moor above!! Didn't get that either.
