Western Wood-Pewee (Contopus sordidulus)

My first-of-season sighting of this bird, and it put on a good show! Lots of loud bill snaps during its flycatching sallies.
Location
San Pedro, Los Angeles, CA, USA
Date taken
5 Oct 2008
Scientific name
Contopus sordidulus
Equipment used
Canon 450D + Canon 100-400mm + Canon 1.4x II 66.7% crop
  Very beautiful portrait of this little bird that looks huge in my screen!!! ;) Lovely detail, and the angle shows very well the typical shape of a Flycatcher bill! Very good job, David!!! :t: :loveme:

Gppd shot of this smasher David....and what a name to contend with too.
