what a bill. (anas clypeata)

hi guys.this shoveler flew in yesterday quite near well nearer than usual.what a bill and a duck i usually only see in winter at a distance.think this maybe a male.i did laugh at my excitement on trying to capture this guy with some pretty decent waders around here just now my attention went on this beauty.
