What are you?

I saw a bird high in an oak tree in our yard. It was exhibiting very warbler type behaviour. Flitting from branch to branch, leaf to leaf, very quick, never stopping. I couldn't make out what it was. It looked different from any warbler I ever saw before. I was really excited maybe this was going to be a lifer! Finally it stopped and dug out a juicy caterpillar and I got a shot of it. Still didn't know what it was till I looked at it on the computer later. Turns out it was a Chipping Sparrow. He sure fooled me!

He may not be a lifer, Bill, but he is a handsome chap with his meal.

LOL! I was watching a small brown bird perched vertically on a reed, flying out to catch flies, then back to the reed. I was hoping for a Reed Warbler, but when I got closer I realized that, nope .... just a House Sparrow. Still, I got what may be my best House Sparrow shot ever ;)
