Got what I though was a pretty good insect book, can't find this one. See similar bodies but the neck is short.

can't help you with the ID, Donny, but this sure is a wonderful photo!!! splendid composition and outstanding details and colours, top class, many tfs!!!

Looks like a Solider Beetle Donny. I am sure a top view will make this species "neck" look different. Great side view and a fabulous close-up. TFS!
