What does a Mallard eat for breakfast? Answer - Quacker Oats! (Anas platyrhynchos)

A very poor joke I know... but I can't think of a catchy title!

Anyhow - this is a photo of Mrs. Mallard - what more can I say?

I charged her a quid or taking that photo too - she said, "Just put it on my bill!"

Oh yes - I'm on a roll now... setting low standards that I just can't reach!
Habitat

Location
Martin Mere, Lancashire, England.
Date taken

Scientific name
Anas platyrhynchos

Thank you Dr. Singh - glad you like... I know that ducks/mallards are 'common' in the U.K. but that doesn't make them any the less endearing, hence the photo.

Comment appreciated.

:D No coke this time Julie - just my daft sense of humour!

I may however get a can of Irn Bru tomorrow though... but I'm not committing myself!
