It is some type of Nuthatch.
Looking it shows the Rock, Persian and Eurasian occur in your country, hope that helps.

Such a lovely picture of a beautiful bird.

As Margaret (Marmot) says, it could be one of a few Nuthatches, so it would be an idea to ask in the [COLOR="Blue"]ID forum[/COLOR] to sort out which species it is.

It's a nuthatch. I think perhaps not the Eurasian one, but there are others where you are. Lovely little fella |=)|
p.s. It occurs to me that this could be a juvenile. All three species you have in your area have a strong, black eyestreak, whereas this one just has a hint of that. If a juvenile, then Eurasian is also a possibility. Eurasian and Rock both have that round body shape. Persian is slimmer ... at least for the adult birds. Oh well. Someone at ID forum will probably know.

It certainly looks like a Nuthatch but I don't know which species it is. It's a beautiful image Mo. I agree with D and I would post it in the I D section of the Forum. There you will get it's specific name. Make sure you list where you photographed it and the season you captured it in.
