'What's that?'
I went back to Eynesbury again yesterday to see if the Freckled Ducks had returned, (not yet) but I did find the Grebe but this time with a bub in tow.....each time the parent disappeared under the water it would wait to see where it surfaced and then raced over with mouth agape only to close it when it got to the parent. The look on its face seems to question what is being fed to it, not just once but most times as I watched, trying to catch the action! Parent had to encourage it to take whatever it had for it, mostly dragonfly larvae! Hope you like!

Oh gorgeous that Nora. It's such fun watching these young grebes chasing up to the parent when it surfaces from a dive.
