Despite the ghastly fuel situation we did manage a few pics albeit from Brittany rather than La Brenne and this lady posed quite obligingly for us.
Luckily the wine producers and restaurants were not striking during our visit.

A lovely picture you've taken of this pretty Wheatear - very well done lassie. I've seen some, but not well enough for a picture as yet.

Great pose, angle, and bird, Kim. Tube is on strike there tomorrow... a battle of wills that will be settled before the football starts

She is quite a beauty, clearly showing how she got the name. Marvelous setting & shot; Kim!! tfs.

Great lighting in this superb portrait of a wheatear, Kim. I love the gorgeous colours of the backdrop.Great pose and composition too.

One of my favourite little birds, and an excellent shot of this female Kim, tfs

Glad the problems in France didn't spoil things too much, Kim.

Such a lovely composition with gorgeous focus and bokeh.
